  • This disc is working fine for me so far, using ePSXe 1.6, it was a little glitchy as I was climbing Cleyra's Trunk, but past it now.

  • Worked perfectly on my PSX.

  • The controls on this game are the same as any other final fantasy, graphics wise, this one is the best on PSX seeing as some were mind blowing and actually shame the ones on some ps2 games. Another thing you may enjoy is the fourth combat member in the game, fighting with four beats three anyday and it may actually save you at times too. I recommend it to anyone who is a major RPG fan.

  • Hi People. I can see what you mean by it being damaged. But I have the solution! When downloaded, extract it and run the file that it says that's damaged through ePSXe and it works!

  • i played this on a chipped playstation and it bollocksed up at cleyras trunk.

  • Stopped working once I reached Cleyra's Trunk like others have posted. However, if you're using epsxe 1.70, here's the (noob proof) way to get past this point:

    1. Save your game to the game's memory card before entering the Trunk. (Not save states)
    2. Download and extract epsxe 1.52
    3. Copy and paste the memory card files, bios, graphics and sound plugins from your 1.70 folders to the 1.52 folders.
    4. Boot up epsxe 1.52 and "Continue" from the memory card until the next save point and save to the memory card. (Again, not save states!)
    5. Copy the 1.52 memory card files to the 1.70 directory.
    6. Boot 1.70 and "Continue" from your last save! Have fun!

  • im about to download this game and i remember when i was a very young boy i bought this game in the market place for 30 bucks or so, definitely got rippied off. but hey, it was final fantasy! anyways, i had the exact same problem when i got up to cleyra's trunk that when i versed the boss it wouldn't load any further. i thought that dodgy marketplace seller screwed me over but no, this problem is universal!

    gah, i thought i would get passed cleyra no dramas
